Penanagrams 1.3

Penanagrams is a daily anagram-style word puzzle presented to you at no cost. Each day features a fresh five-letter starting word. Your objective is to discover as many penanagrams (near-anagrams) as possible. To do this, you must (a) alter precisely one letter in the original word and then (b) utilize this newly changed letter along with the four remaining letters of the starting word in any sequence to construct a new word.

Let's take an example with the word START: by changing a T to an N, you could get RANTS or by changing T to E, you could form RATES. However, transforming a T into any other character and rearranging the remaining letters would not be considered a new penanagram. For instance, changing T to F resulting in RAFTS will not count as a valid penanagram. In order to distinguish this, the modified letter will be represented as a green blank square in your list of penanagrams.

Your performance is recognized with a star when you identify 1/4, 2/4, and 3/4 of the potential penanagrams. Challenge yourself to aim for three stars every day!
